Regional Development Manager x 2, The Rivers Trust
The Rivers Trust is seeking two entrepreneurial and dynamic individuals to support the development of Rivers Trusts in the North and the South of England, respectively.
The roles will involve facilitating cooperation between the member trusts in each region of The Rivers Trust’s remit, enabling them to deliver large-scale improvements to rivers and their catchment areas. Our ambition is to quadruple the current collective turnover of the Rivers Trust movement between 2020 and 2025. The two managers will work closely with The Rivers Trust’s Commercial Director, securing commercial opportunities, sharing best practice, and supporting the trusts with the development of business models, strategic opportunities, and project management processes.
You should ideally have excellent people and project management skills, and some commercial and sales experience. You will also have a strong commitment to restoration of the water environment and a good understanding of environmental issues, environmental NGOs, government agencies and consultancies.
These are permanent positions, funded by the support of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation for the next two years.
