Recreation Ground Sundridge TN14 6ET

In 2016, a bypass channel was constructed by the Partnership to facilitate fish passage at an impassable weir. Swales were also built to lower local flood risk to properties from the A25. The new channel requires maintenance to allow diverse vegetation to establish and prevent the establishment of Invasive Non-Native Species, like Himalayan Balsam.

We’ll be meeting in the Car Park of the Sundridge Recreation Ground @ TN14 6ET.

What to wear?
Our events take place no matter the weather (within reason), so please make sure you dress appropriately in old clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Please wear either wellies or walking boots as you will be working along the river bank where it can be muddy, wet and slippery.

What to bring?
We supply chest waders, gloves and all the equipment you will need. We suggest you bring along spare clothes in case you get wet, as well as a packed lunch and some water to drink. We will provide hot drinks such as teas and coffees.
