Cleaning up the Green Lanes Stream, South East Rivers Trust

End of Green Lanes Junction with Northcroft Road Epsom KT19 9SZ

Help us clean up this tributary of the Hogsmill River in Ewell.

Join us for an in-river litter pick to remove plastic pollution and other fly-tipping from this precious chalk stream in south London.

Meeting point: at the end of Green Lanes, Ewell, KT19 9SZ. Close to the junction with Northcroft Road.

What to wear?

Our events take place no matter the weather (within reason), so please make sure you dress appropriately in old clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Please wear either wellies or walking boots as you will be working along the river bank where it can be muddy, wet and slippery.

What to bring?

We supply chest waders, gloves and all the equipment you will need. We suggest you bring along spare clothes in case you get wet, as well as a packed lunch and some water to drink. We will provide hot drinks such as teas and coffees.
