Are you interested in the environment? Do you have a background in business accountancy and finance? Would you be interested in volunteering your skills and time to improve and sustain the River Eden and its catchment, as a trustee of Eden Rivers Trust?
We are looking to appoint a Trustee to join the Board of Eden Rivers Trust and hold the role of Treasurer. This is an honorary role (volunteer role) and is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, except reasonable out of pocket expenses.
We’re Eden Rivers Trust – the only conservation charity standing up for Eden’s rivers; changing the way they are protected, enhanced and used so that people and nature in Cumbria can thrive. We work in partnership with organisations and local communities, changing the conversation and inspiring and empowering others to breathe new life into our rivers. Together, we’re finding better ways to ensure that Eden’s rivers can support a brighter future for all. We’re rethinking rivers for good.
How to apply
If you are interested in applying for this role, please send a CV and covering letter to the Chair of trustees at [email protected] (subject heading ERT TREASURER) before Wednesday 6th October. Any questions can also be sent to that address. Interviews will take place later in October in Penrith.
