The Rivers Trust has doubled in turnover and head count in the past year and the finance team needs to expand to support the organisation’s new stature. The rapid growth of the Trust means that we now need to appoint two full-time Project Finance Officers to augment the existing team of three people reporting to the Head of Finance.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced financial administrator with a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage software. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, very well organised and efficient and a team player.
We are the umbrella organisation for a network of 65 Rivers Trusts, each delivering improvements to rivers at a local scale for the benefit of thriving communities and wildlife throughout the UK and the island of Ireland.
The finance team is loosely based around an office in Stoke Climsland in East Cornwall, but the role can be delivered remotely and the team is well established with strong infrastructure to enable working from home. So we welcome applications from candidates anywhere in the South West of England or further afield. The role may require attendance at one of the Trust’s office hubs (currently London, Manchester, Bristol and Cornwall) from time to time. This will be principally to develop candidates in their role within the Finance and wider charity team.
