Trout and Sea Trout are magnificent and highly sought after fish. Salmon
in particular have fascinated anglers since Roman 
times,
due to their amazing life history.
They are also highly adaptable. Since the last ice age some 10 - 15,000 years ago they have adapted to a wide variety of locations, habitat and climatic conditions.
