The catchment mapping portal provides access to a whole range of datasets to support rivers trusts and other stakeholders striving for integrated catchment management planning.
Data are gathered from a wide range of sources, including rivers trusts, the Environment Agency, Defra, ADAS, Ordnance Survey and others. The portal has been part-funded by the Defra Strategic Evidence & Partnership project, the Environment Agency and the Living North Sea project
There are two versions of the portal, one for rivers trusts and one for wider WFD stakeholders, including the Environment Agency's Keeping Rivers Cool partners. The user guide is being updated, so may refer to some datasets or functionality which has been changed. Due to the complex licensing required for many of the datasets included, the rivers trusts version is password protected - for access please contact licencing@theriverstrust.org
